Giving and Gratitude: a 7-day practice
A week on generosity and gratitude as the texts describe them: what giving does for the giver, timely gifts, and what is hard to repay.
The early texts on generosity are concrete. Beings who knew the results of giving would share even their last mouthful (Iti 26); there are gifts that arrive at the right time (AN 5.36); and a true person gives out of faith, carefully, at the right time, with no strings attached, and without harming anyone (AN 5.148).
This week pairs those passages with small, real acts of giving and a daily gratitude sit.
Scope. Day 1 is a complete free preview. Days 2–7 are part of Daily Dharma Plus.
